UPDATE (6-30-08): After many months and several different projects, I have decided to update our site again. This time
I am proud to say that another project has come my way. I, Josh Knight, am currently working on a NEW Christophe Reeve Superman.
I am getting help from a good friend, and of course my brother Ben will be doing a great deal as well.
I have also retitled the page to match our new name on the Sideshow Collectors Forum (better known as the Sideshow
Freaks!).
UPDATE (2-3-08): Kyle Reese repaint. Took forever to post the update. I , Ben, repainted it a while back. UPDATE (1-24-07):
Additions have been made to Ben's Indy. He will tell what he did later. UPDATE (10-23-07): The Phantom Menace Obi-Wan
has been added. UPDATE (10-22-07): Ben's "A New Hope" Luke Skywalker is finally complete. There are pictures and a
description on a new page. And soon there will be another "STAR WARS" figure coming: "Episode I" Obi-Wan.
UPDATE (9-5-07): Ben updated his Indy, Temple Indy, and he also added a new custom.... CONCEPT INDIANA JONES! UPDATE
(8-4-07): Ben has put his new ROTJ Han Solo on the site, so check it out. UPDATE (7-31-07): I repainted the "Last Crusade"
Indiana Jones head and have posted new pictures!
UPDATE (7-17-07): New pictures of the Terminator figures. And Terminator 101 Version 2 coming soon.
UPDATE (7-12-07): After much reluctance, I finally decided to glue the first Terminator head onto the neck peg. I really hated
to do it, but it only produced a new project. That's right, a damaged/pre-endo T-800. I've mounted the extremely damaged head
on a BBI G3.5 body. I'm using the Hot Toys shirt. The pants I found in an old GI-Joe box; they match the movie pants perfectly.
The boots need work, but will do fine. I ordered the gloved hands and jacket from eBay. That should produce an awesome Version
2 Terminator.
UPDATE (6-27-07): Ben and I have started a new figure using the Endor trooper and the hands from Arnold. The name is Reese.
Sergeant TechCom. DN 38416, from "The Terminator."
UPDATE (6-17-07): Chris Reeve Superman has been put on hold for a while, as I am now in the process of a new figure: The Terminator!
That's right, I will soon have my own T-800 from the first, and best, "Terminator" film. There's a new page for it with the
description, of course. I hope you all check it out because it has really go me pumped!
UPDATE (5-29-07): There's a very special figure coming up in the next few weeks: Christopher Reeve as Superman! I've ordered
both a '78 Mego Superman and a pre-painted Chris Reeve head mounted on a Dragon body. I'd reall rather it be on a BBI or even
the Mego body, but I'm not complaining. We are already working on a cape, boots and the shield.
Also, there's another project coming up. A Luke Skywalker from "A New Hope."
UPDATE (5-12-07): To follow up to Ben's FRWL James Bond, we now have a Red Grant custom.
UPDATE (5-2-07):Additions to FRWL Bond.
UPDATE (4-28-07): New figues added today. Description and pictures for Ben's Sean Connery James Bond in "From Russia With
Love," and tomorrow I will add a description and pictures for my Pierce Brosnan Bond from "The World Is Not Enough."
UPDATE (4-23-07): NEW BOND FIGURES COMING SOON! Two new customs are in the near future: a Sean Connery as James Bond
in "From Russia with Love" and Pierce Brosnan in "The World is Not Enough." UPDATE (3-25-07): The new Dragon body
for my Daniel Craig James Bond. New pictures! UPDATE (3-20-07): I received my Brosnan Legacy Bond today! I'm using
Sean Connery's Beretta silencer, painted black. I'm waiting to show pictures until I get the Dragon body I ordered a few days
ago. It will be much better than the GI Joe figure. Pictures soon.
UPDATE (3-15-07): I've updated the page for my Daniel Craig James Bond. I repainted the head yesterday, and there are
now pictures up. UPDATE (2-2-07): Two projects of Josh's are in the works: Clark Kent from Superman Returns and
a long awaited project of mine. More updates to come. UPDATE (1-24-07): Added new pics of Temple Indy. UPDATE
(1-23-07): Ben made revisions to his Indy. UPDATE (1-15-07): Ben added his new Marion Ravenwood figure, so check it
out.
UPDATE (12-10-06): A few days ago I posted a new page previewing my upcoming Daniel Craig as James Bond. I didn't
post an update. Well, I received the head yesterday and have painted it already. Pics are up on the new page and also there
is a picture of the Pierce Brosnan Legacy Bond which I am going to be using. UPDATE (11-13-06): On Friday I received
a Harrison Ford Han Solo head that I had recently purchased from a seller on eBay. From then until today I've been working
on my "A New Hope" version of Han Solo. I posted a page Saturday morning and forgot to make an update on the homepage. So,
check it out. UPDATE (10-11-06): I added Henry's umbrella on the 9th and forgot to post an update. UPDATE (10-8-06):
Ben has comlpeted the suitcase and pictures are up on Henry's page. Ben is now working on the umbrella. Pictures soon. UPDATE
(10-7-06): Ben is currently working on the suitcase carried by Dr. Henry Jones, Sr. in "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade."
Pictures tomorrow. UPDATE (10-5-06): The Toys McCoy Indiana Jones head recast that I ordered from Actionfigure2002
has finally arrived. You can see it in my Indy's section.
And a few days ago, Ben and I started a new project: Professor Henry Jones, Sr. He now has his own page.
UPDATE (9-28-06): My dad picked the Relic Hunter up from the post office Monday, while I was in class. It was an amazing moment.
I was trilled. Find out all about it in Josh's Indiana Jones section. And another figure was just added, Indiana Jones from
"Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom." This is a figure long in the making and still has a ways to go.
UPDATE (9-24-06): The Relic Hunter that I ordered has arrived, here in Rockwood, TN. But it was too big to fit in the
maild box and is currently at the Post Office. I won't be able to get it until Monday, but when I do I'll automatically post
some pictures. I have still yet to receive the Toys McCoy head recast, which comes on a cheap, flimsy body so that it can
be sold as a figure. Pictures to come soon!
UPDATE (9-16-06): Things have been busy for my since I started college and work. But a few days ago I received the body for
my Indiana Jones, then today, my own boots came from NewLine Miniatures. I also ordered a Relic Hunter from a vendor on eBay.
Ben had to make me a new holster for the Webely revolver and it looks great!
On another note, I bought an old RoboCop model kit on eBay last night. I'm planning on using it for the head, which is helmetless,
to revamp my MacFarlane Toys 12" Robo. It may be a recast kit, though, so it may be too small to use. In that case, I will
have a neat vinyl kit to build.
UPDATE (9-6-06): I have good news concerning my Indiana Jones project which was haulted earlier this year. I ordered a recast
of the Toys McCoy head, the famous Indiana Jones 12" figure which is often found on eBay for $300-500. Yikes! I also bought
a BBI Generation 2 body. I made sure to get the same body as Rick Deckard to keep the Harrison Ford flow as close as possible.
I did, however, want a different head for my Indy, otherwise it would look like Ben's, only wearing slightly different clothes.
I've included a picture of the head and the cheapy body it comes with in Josh's Indiana Jones section.
In addition to this, Ben has purchased a BBI Generation 3.5 body for his Indiana Jones. I know this was a good choice. Also,
Ben has some new gloves for the body which were from the Mig pilot I got. Now we will have an extra G1 body laying around
for another project. Also, Ben and I ordered and recieved two web belts like those worn by Indiana Jones.
UPDATE (8-17-06): Ben and I have made a few more changes, including new pictures of Ben's Indiana Jones and our Superman.
UPDATE (8-16-06): Well, Superman is finally done. The completed head came in the mail today. Thank you Les. And, if you've
been to the site before, you'll see that Ben and I (mostly Ben) have revamped the entire site so that you can look at the
figures individually. I hope this works better.
UPDATE (7-25-06): All new pictures and description of JMK's Superman custom, including Ben's amazing custom cape!
UPDATE (7-23-06): Sideshow Toys has just anounced (a few days ago) that they are, in connection with Hot Toys, are making
a Lt. Ellen Ripley from the movie Aliens. With Alien, and Aliens being two of my favorite movies, I was naturally ultra-excited.
This put me into an Alien movies kind of mind set. So, I would like to tell everyone that I am considering making a custom
12" (or 14", rather) alien warrior/xenomorph from Aliens. It would be a faily simple custom; the idea is I buy the McFarlane
1/6 scale alien from the first Alien, remove the clear dome and cover the eye sockets, which were painted over on the final
release version of the figure, and then paint the whole head, ridges and all, a semi-glossy black. This is bascially the only
difference between the first and second movies' alien. The depressing news it that the Ripley figure by Sideshow/Hot Toys
is going to cost $90! Yikes! But I'm gonna save up some money, and I'm counting on B-day money from my aunt and grandmothers.
So, that's all for the Aliens figures.
I'm also considering customizing my 12" RoboCop by McFarlane Toys. I'd used an exacto knife and small bit drill to battle
scar the rest of the armor. I've already painted his exposed eye. So, I've go some time, a drill, and paint. I'll keep everyone
updated. Thanks.
UPDATE (7-21-06): Today Ben added a picture and description of his modified Indiana Jones shirt. I also added pictures of
my repainted Superman boots and his temporary head, from the original Chinese MIG Pilot.
UPDATE (7-14-06): Today I've added pictures and a description of my "Empire Strikes Back" Boba Fett. I has still not added
a picture of his head because I haven't repainted it yet. So, go to the Our Customs link and check it out.
UPDATE (7-7-06): I've just added a simple projection of what my custom Superman, hopefully, will look like. I'll tell you
more about it in Our Customs section.
UPDATE (7-4-06): Happy 4th everybody. I have good news about my Brandon Routh Superman. I have the outfit and the body. I've
decided to use the body of my Indiana Jones (for which I still have no head) and put it on hold and focus on a new project,
the Superman. Unfortunately, I've yet to find the original head from the Chinese Mig pilot figure. So, I have no neck! I think
I'm still going to use the electronic Ultimate Powers Superman's head for this custom. It's kind of a lot of money to spend
for just a head, though. I've included a couple of pictures of my headless Supes next to my 14" Hyperposeable Superman. I'd
use the head from that figure, but alas, it's too big.
On another note, I've also posted a new pic of Ben's Indy that he took. We were experimenting with some lighting, but I think
it turned out pretty well. Oh yeah... GO SEE SUPERMAN RETURNS! if you haven't already.
UPDATE (6-16-06): In less then 2 weeks, SUPERMAN RETURNS! And in celebration of his return, my customs will return in mid-late
July, starting with a Brandon Routh Superman from the new movie. In fact, it's already in the works... I've bought the Superman
Ken doll's clothes from a seller on eBay. I'm planning on using a DID (Dragon In Dreams) body with bendy hands for more poses.
I would love if Lonnie Hale could sculpt a Brandon Routh head for me, but I don't want to get my hopes up. My buddy Les Walker
suggested using the 12" Ultimate Powers Superman electronic figure for the head only. I think I'll do that. I'll keep you
updated. Thanks for visiting our site.
UPDATE (5-6-06): A new picture of Boba Fett in his original box.
UPDATE (5-4-06): New pictures of Rick Deckard added today! Check 'em out.
UPDATE (4-22-06): This is a sad day in customizing for my brother and I. I've packed up our art supplies. Our family and I
are moving in June and we must make way for moving boxes and such. I'm afraid Boba Fett from "The Empire Strikes Back" and
Darth Vader from "Return of the Jedi" will have to be put on hold until mid-July at the latest.
