This is a fairly straight-forward custom. I used the "T2" Arnold Terminator figure from Sideshow. The clothes are from
the Hot Toys T-800, as well as the guns and sunglasses. The gloved hands are from a Sideshow Endor Rebel trooper (painted
black).
The current Sideshow sculpt of Arnie is temporary. I've ordered two custom sculpted T-800 heads from the Frontline website,
the same site from which we purchased the Harrison Ford heads. They are the second two heads: the one with the exposed
robotic eye and the other is all mangled. I'll paint the heads up and make them interchangable. You can see the heads
on the Frontline order PDF doc. on their site.
UPDATE (7-4-07): A couple of weeks ago I made the AR-180, basically
a civilian version of the M-16. I used two M-16's and the taped on magazine is from an unknown machine gun we had laying around
in a box.
The shirt is from a Kenner Terminator from T2: 3D, circa 1996. The Frontline heads arrived yesterday, and
Ben and I started painting away. The Gargoyles sunglasses are of course from the Hot Toys T-800. They had to be cut so that
they'd fit in the shallow holes in the hair. We haven't figured out how to make the heads interchangeble yet, but they stay
on pretty well indivindually.
Now Kyle Reese has a nemisis, the Terminator!
